Due Date of filing Form 10BA
The due date for filing Form 10BA is the same as the due date for filing your income tax return. For the financial year 2022-23, the due date for filing Form 10BA is 31st July 2023. However, if you are required to get your return audited, the due date for filing Form 10BA will be extended to 30th September 2023.
If you file Form 10BA after the due date, you may be liable to pay late fees. The late fees are calculated at a rate of ₹100 per day, up to a maximum of ₹5,000.
You can file Form 10BA online or offline. To file Form 10BA online, you can use the e-filing website of the Income Tax Department. To file Form 10BA offline, you can download the form from the Income Tax Department website and print it out. You can then submit the form to your nearest income tax office.

- Go to the Income Tax Department website.
- Click on the "e-filing" tab.
- Click on the "income tax return" link.
- Click on the "new return" link.
- Select the type of return that you want to file.
- Enter your PAN and date of birth.
- Click on the "continue" button.
- Enter the details of your income and deductions.
- Click on the "add deduction" button.
- Select the "section 80GG" deduction.
- Enter the details of your rent payments.
- Click on the "save and continue" button.
- Review your return and make any necessary changes.
- Click on the "submit" button.

- Download the Form 10BA from the Income Tax Department website.
- Print out the form.
- Fill in the form carefully.
- Attach the required documents.
- Submit the form to your nearest income tax office.
